The Judgment Seat of Christ. To be truthful, something I had not spent an abundance of time or energy thinking about in my lifetime until…I read this book.
This Was Your Life!, coauthored by Rick Howard & Jamie Lash, is one of those books you’ll wish you had read 20 years earlier (if you were reading then)! Of Martin Luther, Howard writes, “on his calendar there were but two days: ‘Today and That Day.’ He recognized that all the days of his earthly existence were preparation for that momentous day when he would stand before God in eternity and give an account for his life.”
Before This Was Your Life!, I had a rather ethereal idea of what the Judgment Seat might be like. This book landed it smack dab into my realm of thinking. It is easy and fast reading, frightening… yet encouraging.
Needless to say I would put this on my must read list for every believer.
